I love you!

Alyria wasn't the most cuddly of babies. Whenever I held her and burped her as a baby, she'd always have her head falling off the side of my shoulder. I got a crick in my neck from tilting to make sure she didn't fall off. But as she's grown, she's become more cuddly and loving. She loves to give hugs. And she gets so excited when she sees me after I've been working all day. It's really cute, and I'll take every moment of it while I can.

She's generaly very good at mimicry. So for the last month or so, whenever we'd say "I love you", she would repeat it, which was very cute in itself. Just this past week she started nestling her head against mine and putting her arms around me while I sang her good night song (she'd always want her hands free before). And on a couple occasions, when I said "I love you", instead of repeating, she would say "I love you, daddy." <3
