Learning to Snap

A couple weeks ago (06/02/2026), we were sitting at the dinner table, and Alyria asked me if I could teach her how to snap her fingers. I'm guessing one of the kids at school learned how and it became a thing where they all wanted to do it. She was so excited when she could make a little bit of sound. I had her practice the other hand as well, but she definitely favored her right hand. She was so excited about it, she was practicing all night as we were getting ready for bed. The next evening she came home with a bandaid because apparently she cut her hand with her fingernails because she was practicing so much. In a way it was a good thing because that forced her to practice with her left hand more. She's been so excited about it and randomly snapping for several days since.
